Description

Following the success of MA Series amplifiers and taking after its footsteps, POPE PROFESSIONAL engineers set out to design a new economical series of amplifiers with many added features. The CA Series amplifiers are all housed in 2RU chassis construction and with 2 Q low impedance operation. To provide even greater flexibility, all CA amplifiers have built in limiters at the input stage so as to prevent the amplifier from being over driven. A selectable 110/150 Hz crossover is built into the amplifier to allow for the amplifier to be used in a bi-amplified configuration - one channel driving mid-high speaker and the other driving a sub-woofer. The amplifier is also used in bi-amplified mode for stage monitoring eliminating the need for additional external cross-overs. For portable system application, the CA amplifier is the best choice since it is both compact, high power and there is no need for external crossover or limiters. All of CA amplifiers come with advanced protection circuitry against DC overload ,and thermal overload making it a very reliable work horse for both portable and installed sound applications.
